Eric Whitney is currently pursuing dual degrees from Boston University’s School of Management, including an MBA in Public and Nonprofit Management as well as a Masters in Information Systems. While at BU, he was selected as an Education Pioneers Fellow and voted President of the Public & Nonprofit Management Club. Eric previously worked for five years at the education reform nonprofit Citizen Schools where he successfully implemented org-wide business process systems including job applicant tracking, intranets, and fundraising databases. He has established experience in bringing information management systems to a national scale and has received recognition for his collaborative abilities in working across traditional organizational functional boundaries. In his capstone year at BU, Eric is consulting with several nonprofits on their data management strategies to identify and track metrics for measuring organizational and program success. Eric’s passion for education reform is fueled through his past AmeriCorps*VISTA service and his involvement on the Boston Education Pioneers Alumni Board.
